A Plan for Reading Through the Bible This Year

As this year comes to a close, it's a great time to consider a plan for reading through the Bible in the new year. Here are several I've discovered and one that I'm excited about doing myself.
The Billy Graham association offers a Bible reading plan for 2022 that is a downloadable document that comes to your email. Their plan for 2022 will take you through the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs.

A treasure chest of daily Bible reading resources can be found at Replicate ministries Foundations page on their website. On this page you will find plans for reading through the Bible for adults, youth and children. Your entire family can read through the Bible together with age-appropriate guides. You will also find plans for reading through the entire Bible, or for reading through the Old or New Testaments.

The most interesting plan I found is this one offered by Chuck Lawless. In this article, Chuck includes a link to a jackpot of various Bible reading plans along with a great way of using highlighters to focus on specific subjects as you interact with what you hear God say while you're reading. I'm going to choose one of the plans from his link--most likely an Old Testament/New Testament/Psalm and Proverb a day plan, and gather my highlighters to read through my brand new unmarked Bible in 2022 using Chuck's method.

Don't get bogged down in all the options. Just choose one and get to it! And if you fall off the wagon, don't stop! I mean, if you forget to eat lunch are you going to just quit eating?!
Determine now to stay in God's Word on a daily basis with a plan so that you will be tethered to Truth this coming year.
